Breast Augmentation

Breast Augmentation (Augmentation Mammoplasty) is a surgical procedure performed in order to increase the size and/or alter the shape of a woman's breasts through the use of breast implants. This plastic surgery procedure typically takes anywhere from 1-2 hours. Most patients are back to work in a few days. By inserting an implant behind each breast, surgeons are able to increase a woman's breast size by one or more bra cup sizes.

Breast Lift

Breast Lift (Mastopexy) is a surgical procedure performed that reshapes and lifts up sagging breasts. As the skin loses its flexibility, the breasts often lose their shape and firmness and begin to sag. Your plastic surgeon will remove excess tissue, and with the remaining tissue, reposition your breast. This plastic surgery procedure typically takes anywhere from 1-3.5 hours. Most patients are back to work within 7-10 days.

Breast Reduction

Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammaplasty) is a surgical procedure designed for women with very large breasts. Common problems caused by large breasts range from neck and back pain to breathing problems. This plastic surgery procedure removes fat, skin and tissue from the breasts, which in turn, makes them smaller, weigh less and more firm. The goal is to give women proportionate breasts to there body. This procedure is done typically to relieve the physical discomforts of very large breasts, the inactivity they can cause, and the pain as well. Most patients are back to work in less than 3 days. However, you may experience discomfort for a couple weeks. Important note: Some insurance companies will cover Breast reduction, but it is important to have the proper documentation. Also, they may require a certain amount of tissue to be removed. This is important to talk to the doctor about during your initial consultation.

Tummy Tuck

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) is a surgical procedure that dramatically reduces the appearance of a chubby abdomen. This section overviews the procedure, who would be a good candidate, the end results of the procedure, along with the disadvantages of it, such as scarring.

Liposuction

Liposuction (Lipoplasty) is a surgical procedure which improves your body shape. A tube and vacuum device are used. There are different techniques that can be used for this plastic surgery procedure, including tumescent technique and the ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty. Liposuction can be performed in many places on the body. The most common are abdomen liposuction, buttocks liposuction, hips and thighs liposuction, and upper arms liposuction. These are just a few of the common places, but of course, consult with your plastic surgeon to find out what is best for you. This plastic surgery procedure can take anywhere from 1 hour to several hours. It is dependant on the exact procedure being performed.

Facelift is a surgical procedure which improves skin on the face which sags. This is done by removing extra fat on the face and tightening the muscles. The goal of this plastic surgery procedure is the set the clock back in reference to aging, by reducing the most visible parts of it. This plastic surgery procedure takes a good amount of time, usually numerous hours. Most patients are back to work within 2 weeks. Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) is a surgical procedure which will remove excess fat, skin, and muscle in order to fix saggy upper eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes. These symptoms can make you look and feel older, and also may negatively affect your vision. This plastic surgery procedure can take anywhere from 1-3 hours. Patients typically can begin reading again after 3 days, back to work in less than 10 days and wearing contact lenses after 2 weeks. The best candidates for Liposuction are both men and women, who are not excessively over weight.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) is a surgical procedure which removes bulges in your nose, changes the shape of the tip of your nose, and reshapes the nose by increasing or decreasing its size, reducing the span of nostrils or changing the angle. This can also repair some breathing problems, which sometimes, will allow it to be covered by insurance. Check with your plastic surgeon about your specific case. This plastic surgery procedure takes anywhere from 1 to several hours.
